I’ve been catching up on YouTube videos - even though my school isn’t done yet and neither are the stuff I have to submit, yes, premature rewards and leisure… Anyway, watching those videos make me want to vlog again…but I think I need to come up with a better end screen first and more character - or does one just come up with them on the way. I also still feel awkward and uncomfortable being in front of the camera. This is even true with photos.
Often, when I attend an event and people start calling out for pictures, I would join a few and then ninja my way out. I just don’t like seeing my face - with not much variation in facial expressions, anyway - ever so often in a photo album. I’m content with having a picture that says “I was here.”
Lastly, I am working with my churchmates on a video project that is to be uploaded in YouTube. It will be a series, a little bit like a reality show, that revolves around discipleship, living life as a follower of Jesus. We are looking forward to an event called Philippine Discipleship Conference and we’re hoping that our project would help promote it and also reach out to people who have questions and interests about Christianity and Christian life. I won’t be acting in our episodes - or probably show up every now and then. I am more concerned with behind the camera businesses where I am more comfortable. However, I am considering documenting our endeavors and making vlogs and blogs about them.
Summer is almost here (in the Philippines)…well, I think it’s already summer but I cannot declare vacation yet because of school. I am looking forward to planning and fulfilling the plans I have. Let’s make every moment count and not wait for the vacation days to be productive in extra curricular activities.
I’ve been thinking of blogging a lot of my daily things. We have wifi at home and devices that allow me to post practically any time but I never seem to find the time to actually write.
Presently, as two of my posts got lost here, I’m writing a few blogs for a subject in school. I hope I can continue (get back into) blogging again by the summer days. Right now, please visit my other blog account.
How to Advertise
How you say is just as important as what you say.
It is important to know who the target market is. This way, packaging a product helps in selling it.
Creative Business Cards
Just like creative advertisements, the following business cards emphasize what the job is all about other than just giving a name and position (and contact numbers, of course).
- dentist’s card with teeth marks
- divorce lawyer with a copy of the contact details for the woman and man
- counselor that heals the broken
- a (physical) personal trainer that forces you to stretch to get his number
